Our organization is open to all patriotic males interested in preserving the memory of our Union soldiers and the history of the veterans who survived the war and formed the Grand Army of the Republic. Associate members do not need information about lineage filled out on the application form. Persons having a Civil War ancestor are required to provide proof of honorable federal military service between 1861 and 1865. You are also required to show documentation on each step of your lineage; ie. your birth, your parent who is in the line of the veteran, and so on.
Membership currently costs $45 in national dues, state dues and camp dues. Plus another $10 one time application fee is required by national as a processing fee. So to join is a total of $55. Once you become a member, hereditary members are allowed to be life members and that can be quite a savings. Fill out this form and write a check to "US Grant Camp 68" then mail to: Walter Busch 1240 Konert Valley Dr. Fenton, MO 63026 Note 1: Do not mail it to US Grant Camp 68 or Sons of Union Veterans using Walt's address! The post office is screwed up and will not necessarily deliver it even if you put "c/o Walter Busch" in the address. Note 2: It is cheaper to mail memberships to camps than to National as they charge a higher fee prior to sending the file and check to an individual camp. We can accept PAYPAL, see our For Sale page to use Paypal, and also credit cards via Square but these must be set up with Walt via e-mail and phone contact. Questions? Contact [email protected] |
